The hire rules

1. Who runs the punt hire

These terms govern your use of swanpuntmeadow.com ("Swan Punt Meadow", "we", "us"), operated by the operator of swanpuntmeadow.com. Using the site means you accept them.

2. Who may step aboard

Only people aged 18 or over may use Swan Punt Meadow. Using it means you confirm you are 18 or over.

3. Play coins, not money

• Every game is played with virtual coins, supplied free.
• Coins hold no monetary value; they are not money, not credit and not property.
• Coins cannot be purchased, sold, withdrawn, transferred or exchanged for money, goods, services or prizes. The app offers no purchases of any kind.
• No prize of real-world value is on offer, ever.
• We may alter or reset coins, levels and features at any time, as the river requires.

4. No real-money gambling on the river

Swan Punt Meadow does not offer or promote real-money gambling, and no link on the meadow leads to a gambling operator.

5. Your hire account

• Vesper Boathouse and Yewfeather Lawn require a free account. Each person may hold just one, and it must not be shared.
• Keep your password secret, and let us know at once if your account has been used by someone else.
• Your account can be deleted whenever you wish from your account page. It goes immediately and cannot be restored.
• We may suspend any account used to disrupt the meadow, or that we believe is held by someone under 18.
• Coins, levels and missions belong to the account and are never your property; they may be reset.

6. Using the meadow fairly

Do not try to disrupt the meadow, aim automated tools at it, offer coins in a trade, or allow anyone under 18 to use it.

7. When the meadow is down, and liability

The meadow comes “as is”, and any part of it may be changed or taken away. A malfunction voids all plays and pays. Nothing in these terms limits any liability that the law forbids us to limit, and your statutory rights remain unaffected.

8. The law that applies on the meadow

The law of England and Wales governs these hire rules.
